Ordered a standard 5dr DSG in Mystery blue end of march with my order confirmed 5th April, Build confirmed 17th Sept last week.
It's cool as I feel jealous of your confirmed build week
Tbh it seems like most posting on here have waited or are waiting long enough.
The more confirmations of build weeks I read the more hopeful I am that mine isn't too far away.

Those on leasing (Fleets) be aware that you might have ordered your car let's say in March but the Factory might only have accepted the order in June. You need to ask SEAT when your order was accepted by the factory because sometime through fleets takes ages.
Might be nothing but can you not order 5dr Cupra anymore? no option on the Seat web site to build 5dr
Order books don’t open until mid-October for MY19’s so you can’t configure them yet.
Think its the 5dr cars that are getting build weeks with the 290 engine...
Spoke to CS today and they confirmed the issue with the ST is that it is still the 300 engine. They are apparently not going to be building any 300 engines until mid to late October, meaning that the earliest build week for the ST is currently weeks 45-51.. 2nd week of October to 3rd week of December..
Don't expect delivery until at least the end of December is what i was told...

It hasn't yet. SEAT are rattling through engines at a good rate though, so it shouldn't be long...

Scrogg, do Seat dealers have a minimum age on test drives? Ive ordered the Cupra without even driving one properly (driven a customer of mine's but couldnt really play). Im 20, dealer said i had to be 21 even after placing my order. Are they having me on?
Usually, yes...
My current dealership restricts drivers under 21 to cars 150BHP or less, which is actually quite generous. I worked for a company once that only allowed customers 25 and over to drive cars with an engine bigger than 1.4 and didn't allow under-21s to drive anything!
Out of interest, how much is insuring a Cupra at 20?! I'm in my 30s and it's not exactly cheap
I've had a quote for £715 for me and my partner both aged 24, fully comp with £400 excess, 20k miles, social domestic pleasure and commuting
£515 on my own

I've seen so many rumours going around, just keeps it interesting for the people waiting for their cars. From what I've read today I'm gonna be waiting for another 4 months, after being told September when I orderedI'm not even sure what it means for Bulgarian orders???
7DSG is being quoted on a few European sites.
Ahh, O.K. Makes sense now.
The current version of the MY19 price list says it's a 6 speed manual, so there seems to be little hope of getting anything resembling accurate information from SEAT UK any time soon...
