Works on my 2014 car but I have had a couple guys with 2013 cars where the normal pre facelift coding does not work, if you are feeling generous can you put up a copy of your Control Unit 17 and I will do a compare to mine to see if there is anything obviously different.

apr95 I will have a look at your posting this week and see if anything obvious. my initial thoughts are that your Firmware version does not support the background so even though you have correctly set it there is nothing for it to show.

Quick update on the Audi Throttle change where we saw that for Facelift cars it does not work

It appears that if you dont have ACC then you get errors if you do have ACC then it works, to be clear my pre facelift car also has ACC so anybody with a non facelift car without ACC do you have errors as well.

check out https://forums.seatcupra.net/index.php?threads/throttle-settings.445687/#post-4788379 for more information when the guys have got round to testing it.

That's the diagnosis that I've come to as it's the 2018 a build.
Many thanks for your help

That is great news if it's true! I'll keep my fingers crossed since I was really looking forward to trying this when i get my car.

@kiddo I would still give the Audi change a go, we were just trying to establish why it did not work on the facelift cars (and we know so far its because of ACC) but that does not mean its the same on your pre-facelift car so give it a go and let us know if it works.

If it does give you errors we know it only works if you have ACC, if no errors its a facelift problem with ACC.

Following up from my comments on another thread earlier, my 67 plate cupra 300 took the audi change with no errors. The car has ACC and I performed the change using VCDS.

It another modification to the response of the accelerator, this stuff is very subjective so I always recommend you change and try it and see if its better for you. If you dont like it or you cant tell the difference then put it back again.

I'm about to make some changes on my pre facelift mk3.
Have you tried this mod? Did you feel that it made a noticeable difference?

Yes I have made the change but difficult to be subjective as I have just had a stage 3 map put on the car so its a little bit more aggressive than the stock car was.

:) fair enough. Good point. Well made.

I'm not used to the long coding element but I'll have a go tonight - what's the worst that can happen ;)

Seen a couple threads on the Golf Forums that suggest 18 Plate cars no longer allow you to remove the Torque Limiter from the car (Starting vibration reduction: under brakes) could anybody with a reasonably new 18 plate have a look and confirm on the Leon please.

Also please note it appears that VAG Have again made some changes to the setup of the control units so if you are making changes on a new version just check through the code to make sure you have all the component parts first

Tried the torque limiter mod (starting vibration) with obd11 but it said something along the lines of 'not supported' anybody know why this is or a way round it ?
