Resprayed alloys, changed lights & took daughter out for a driving lesson. She's just turned 9 (so sat on my lap) but wanted to drive the Cupra for her birthday. :D

Nice.
Been busy then.
had my boy of 9 drive my automatic Honda on a private road yesterday too. He’s a Natural.

Very nice. What did you pay for them and where from?

125 each delivered. Instead of 166. Demon Tweeks had 22% off. there is also exactly the same tyre with higher dB readings that’s even cheaper.

Yeah I like new rubber too.
My new clutch and flywheel, so different too.
Quicker, smoother. Happy man.

Miss that from my old Ibiza. Is there a specific one for the Leon?

No, I nicked the one from my Cordoba but know that the wives A2 also has one.

Fairly easy to fit, I made a card template to mark the cutouts before getting a sharp craft knife to it. Stuck a small piece of wood (used mastic sealant) behind for the screw. I know ThaiWronghorse has done this and may have a spare from his breaking.

Cheers, might have a look at that myself.

Just got a strip of 4" wide black insulation tape on mine cut into an upside down trapezium on the inside windscreen behind mirror.

Your car must be better than new now. I bet it feels great to have a new clutch, peace of mind too. I'm hoping ours goes on for at least this year, still trying to finish all the small jobs!

Heard back from the garage just now. Need new clutch and DM flywheel. Ouch...

Need my car though so it's booked in to be sorted on Friday.

Suppose that means she'll be good for a remap now #Brightside

Got car back and new clutch felt great. Got home and cleaned the sticking turbo vanes with mr muscle and gave the actuator arm a clean and blast of WD40. So far no more limp mode!

Removing the Aircon ATM, bumper is off and rad is out, hard bit done so... Having a break as need to grab the kid from school. Got the belt from euro
Once tapatalk and this web site sort themselves out I'll upload some pics. Edit: I got to say it's not the best job to do, once the jobs done it's satisfinsato see it gone but my god the preface lift bumper is horrible to take off. Now only held in with 2 bolt's,6 torque screws for easy on/off action.
