Makes a massive difference, the blades look nice from certain angles but don't enhance the side profile like those do.

Wonder if you can spec it from factory with the old skirts? Going to ask the dealer, as I've not heard anything regarding my order.

Silver looks smart too - good choice

they look cracking fella and nice work. are they oem ones or the polish numbers?

much prefer the 290 skirts on the 300 as the oem ones look a bit small and ineffective.

what colour is your car btw? I think I will go silver or dark grey once my lease is up.

They are OEM and the colour is Urban Silver

Yes the dealer can do them. He quoted me £745 to do them while they had the car but I thought this a little high. Cost me £500 all in.

that does look the business.

ice Silver is the colour I think and its a special metallic and no cost option on the 300.

Nevada white and that mystery blue are extra

Ice Silver was a no cost option when I ordered mine back in April, but it got replaced by Urban Silver on the last MY updates and then became a cost option. The lucky people that had orders in for Ice Silver (I made it by 2 days) got the Urban silver as the direct replacement for free.

Urban Silver looks better when it's not in direct sunlight as it goes darker with a hint of blue in it. Unusual shade and doesn't look just brilliant silver like in my photos.

I only went for silver as it was free at the time - like to get my moneys worth!

is that the dark blue? otherwise known as DOOM blue in the trade?

The very same. - mediterranean blue. I cannot find a single picture of an actual Cupra in this blue. I suspect they haven't had many takers for this colour, but now it is free then who knows.

When i placed my order in August i was told that all metallic colours where free . I think the only difference was the new red which cost slightly more.

Was told with the red i may have to pay the difference - think it was only roughly about £25 more.

Was torn between the Mystery Blue and the Nevada white.

Ideally i would have preferred either the old Alor Blue or something similar to Lapiz Blue (Golf R)

I know some car lease companies do quote with metallic paint thrown in the price. Officially all metallic colours are cost options now. If you purchase through DTD for example you will have to pay.

I agree with the above comments about the blues. I love VW Lapiz Blue and Skoda Racing Blue - superb shades. Mystery Blue is still lovely but looks very dark in some lights so look forward to seeing it in the flesh and judging for myself. Pictures can be so deceiving.

Not done anything with them yet, waiting for a dry day and a few hours spare. Will post pics when they’re on.

So I have at last got around to unpacking and inspecting my Polish skirts. As stated clearly by the seller, they are raw product, in need of a bit of preparation before painting. On the whole there is very little to do - mainly just rounding edges and flattening down the primer they come in. The most involved bit of preparation will be the flaps that cover the jacking point access points. They will need attaching (going to use industrial Velcro) but also shaping to make a more flush fit - for that I’m going to use a brilliant little gadget I kickstarted called Bondic (look on Kickstarter for those who are intrigued).
