Picked my Leon up from the dealer, been with them a week as it went into limp home mode and had a rumbling bearing noise.

New boost sensor fitted and both front wheel bearings replaced, only done 21k miles so hopefully it was a one off

I only drove it home and parked it up so will have a good look over it tomorrow. Drove fine on the way home so don't think they have messed it up but we will see. Dealer handled it all really well, got me a hire car really fast and apologised for the inconvenience.

ODBEleven coding this morning:

1/ DRL Now turns on both front and rear lights
2/ DRLS now turned off when handbrake applied
3/ Turned off the sound actor (so much better i can now hear my air intake when driving hard)
4/ Turned on the Engineering menu
5/ Changed the seat belt warning so that it only gives 6 chimes if seat belt not on

And this afternoon she is going to have a good wash.

I had my Cupra 280 fully detailed yesterday (machine polish etc) and she came up better than brand new. Guy did an outstanding job.

It seems that this is where you can update some of the software, mine is a old 2014 model so there are currently 3 menu items which I need to investigate to see if they do anything for me.

Yeh but scumbags looking for a nice SEAT to nick might use this site to find one and then pay the cash sum to DVLC for your address. The odds of same scumbag just coming across your car parked somewhere are a lot lot less.

Why would the dvla be handing my address out to anyone. Money or no money was my first thought. On reading a query and reply online regarding the issue it seems there argument is "we can do it because we've been told we can". As much as we love our seats I think they may fall under the bracket of not worth that level of effort to nick. Surely if they're going to that effort they'd be going high end. But it's a good point none the less and worry that can be avoided with a bit of photo editing.

Actually on that note. Just thinking that given I now have a private registration that could be reasonable grounds to request a marker on my reg. Basically flags up to ask your permission if anyone requests your details.
