I'll dig them out and have a look, will certainly help. Trying to get more into the DIY modifications side of cars, this should be a good opportunity to prove that I can do it to the missus!

Getting up to speed with my Mk3 (bought it just last Monday). So far I've re-acquainted myself with VCDS and enabled a few tweaks:

- Needle sweep
- Carbon FIS Background
- Soundaktor reduced to 49.8%
- Alarm Chirp (locking only)

Will hopefully add the following tweaks (still need to figure some of them out):
- DRLs only as Coming/Leaving Home
- Rear Lights with DRLs when driving
- Carbon Background in the Infotainment Screen
- Set XDS to stong
- Auto Blower to show settings


So far I've ordered some Fan washers from China, and bought a can of Plastidip for the front bumper lip and behind the number plate. Will start a member's ride/journal and post some photos.

Open'd up the right hand side of the air intake today to get more air into my new filter.

As you can see i have cut out all the plastic on the right side so its the same as the left now.



And you can see the air will now flow directly to my new filter.

Any idea when their (REVO) sale normally is? I had a great Stage 1 remap on my previous car (Octavia) and looking to catch a good deal for my Leon too.

Hate to drag up old news but can anyone provide a definitive answer on the dsg footrest fiasco. I have not been able to decipher if the one labelled for the golf or SKODA fit the mk3 leon. The large rectangular one that seems designated for the seat seems a bit like a large rectangle the clips on at one side.

Also while I have you. Anyone considered fitting after market puddle lights?

Never relised how much the Revo induction kit cost! I had one on a 350z and it sounded awesome BUT from stand still they suffered from heat soak but only once up and running they would peak at there best. Are they worth £280?

PS, Revo stage 1 in 2 weeks time.
