Kicked it's head in yesterday morning over the Black Mountain Pass in South Wales - Epic driving road. Unfortunately the video footage isn't suitable for public forums, but the few screenshots from the action cam show just how awesome the road and view is

Nice!
Great roads, I'm glad I live SO close. Its the reason for my transfer to a 350z!
Although I'm considering a Leon again! Good times!

Fans on start up, g83 signal to high, p2185 error fixed

Fixed my fr, f'in g83 sensor fault... Some info if anyone ever needs it...

There's a harness connection from the g83 sensor under the starter motor, there's 4 wires going to it, the one's you'll need to check are the skinny yellow and skinny brown wires, my brown had snapped, soldered a link in and now she's fixed, hitting 90deg then kicking the fans in, rather than the fans being on as soon as i start the car, yay!:1st:

I went to the garage to pick up some spring compressors for a mate and snapped my drivers rear spring. Whilst under checking I found a huge hole in my exhaust.
Fun times.

I Fitted a welly cooler to my K1 today, all went swimmingly, unfortunately I sprayed Cupra onto the front of the cooler but it's too high and is covered by the number plate. DOHH!!

Changed the hpfp cam follower...very straightforward, thankfully! The black coating had almost completely worn off but the face was still flat so hopefully changed it just in time, car has 79k miles.

Yeah I changed mine a while ago, but can't remember how many miles it's been since!

Bet you can't wait! nothing beats mapping day :D

Yeah looking forward to it! Excited to get it on the rollers too, see what it's actually making.

Will get plenty of pictures and videos.

Also been to Seat this morning to have them check the rust on the drivers wing. They basically refused to do anything because the car doesn't have full Seat service history which is a joke, even though the anti-corrosion warranty is 12 years.....

What relevance does the service history have on the corrosion warranty?! KNOBBERS!
