Thanks lee. I enjoyed making them and seeing them Come together. Just have to make a loom up now. Wish I could get my hands on a black w8 light to finish the inside off...

I'm with Admiral, and I notified them of my stainless exhaust with no premium increase, so will try the same with a remap!

but with the new exhaust going on the car and lets say that its a cobra one, surley it makes sence to fit that instead of some O E exhaust that wont last as long as the cobra one, plus the cobra one would be better built?
kinda like fiting LED lights to the car as compared to the std lights that came with the car,is classed a modification or just improvement to the car its self?

Absorb plenty of water out of the left side of the boot, tried out the boot carpet and deadening and fix the leaky rear washer pipe :)

I swapped the chunky Fabia rear wiper for the more tidier Touran wiper. The drag has significantly been reduced - improved fuel economy and faster acceleration!

Any partnrs? Also: does it need modding or straight swap?

Well I used the rear wiper off of a Golf MK5 (which looks exactly the same as the pic) and it was a direct replacement.. Only downside: the wiper is shorter thus not cleaning a large portion of the glass! but it looks awesome, so I do not care!! :D

Drove it, first time in two weeks, been waiting for the new exhaust / cat section. Been driving the Mrs 1.2 Polo in the mean time, never has 180bhp of 1.8T goodness felt so fast! Stealer wanted £700 for a new cat [:@]! Settled for a pattern part from a trade seller for less than a third of that, cat is nowhere near as meaty but hopefully it'll do the job.

After a week on holiday I came back to find the rear washer wasn't working - oh the joy of the dodgy fitting in the rear left panel!!!!!!
10 mins later it was back together and working fine.
Remove 3 screws (one you have to lift rear seat back up to expose), pull off rear parcel shelf panel, refit hose onto 90deg fitting and replace everything back :D

We have agreed, with a heavy heart to sell our Mk1 Cupra 52 plate, to my brother in law for a nominal fee. 142k miles, and it will go to him at the end of the month.

We have had the car since 24/09/2002 and it still runs very well. It had a near death experience in December 2014 but we rode that storm out, bought back from the insurance company and it goes better than ever.

My good lady has wanted a Mk2 Audi TT for a number of years and so she will get one at the end of the month.

Really glad it is going to a good home, as the bro in law is a car nut, will enjoy looking after it and this is what he was looking for.
