Well after work i decided to adjust one of the china couplers to see if it will fit properly, will find out Saturday 
Originally both china couplers had a lug width of 11.5mm, modified one of them to 5mm. Bottom is a side by side of the finished coupler against the old one i had from my Golf.

Dan it was me that left the feedback lol. Short version- I emailed them asking for new S bend pipe, they said I had a case open against them (they had me confused with you lol!!) 15-20 emails later & they were still asking 'what may the problem be, we kindly want to help' etc. So I've just bought Josh's S bend pipe and left them 'neutral' feedback!
They're really winding me up. They've areed to the partial refund request in principle through messages back and fore, but want me to close the case before they will send me a refund - leaving me no leg to stand on should they not honour the agreement.

Haha they kept saying to me 'close the case and we'll send you the pipe' I'm like 'I DONT HAVE A CASE OPEN AGAINST YOU' lol.. 10 emails later.. 'I so sorry I have you confused a mistake made' then followed with 'so, how can I help?' arghhhhhh read all my previous emails I've sent to u lol!! Nevermind. Should have Josh's pipe tomorrow and CM coupler tomorrow also..so fingers x'ed lol
I think the SFS design that i have from my old car would be fine, with a diameter of 5mm for a secure & tight fit (the OE pipes always seems to have a bit of play in them. 11mm i think is slightly.....ambitious!? LOL

Fingers crossed the CM one is a direct smooth tight fit lol! Cba messing about with a dremel etc to make things fit!
just gone out to test fit the metal coupler and there's no chance it will fit even after ive used a rotary tool on the tabs its just way to big.
i just hope this CM couple does the trick.

Banksy I'm getting my CM coupler tomorrow..and Josh's S bend pipe. Hopefully I'll be fitting it tomorrow as well, so I'll let you know!
Do you mean the size of the coupler or the size of the lugs? I hope they're the right size diameter wise as the CM role will be the same... lol
