Type C 68-63mm same as what I've just ordered lol..

Yep, i've ordered type C, as verified here by the two sales of 68-63mm this morning.... lol

Although i will also try to file down and tidy up one of the china couplers as well to see how feasible that is as an option, can always return the CM one if needed and its good info for anyone else planning on buying/fitting one

When are you fitting yours?

I will attack one of my china couplers with a file later this week and see if i can shape it to what would look like a reasonable fit. Very nice of the chinese seller to provide a spare coupler though.

I originally paid/ordered from ASR performance as they stated they had them in this country and was fast delivery i waited for over a week with no reply, no tracking number. so put a claim in with paypal and got a refund within minutes.

Need a favour from one of you guys who has attempted fitting this....

Can you measure up the size of the lug from the bayonet fitting on the OE pipe you removed from the metal turbo pipe? Basically the width of it

The only coupler i have for referene at the moment is from my old TDI and its slightly different so i want to double check the width of the lug as pictured below. Can anyone help? For reference, cheap china one on the left, decent quality SFS item from my old TDI on the right. Thanks

Dan sorry I can't.. I butchered my old boost pipe to re use the standard coupling! So it's currently fitted to the car! Sorry!

No worries mate, mine will be off on Saturday anyway and i really dont want to jack the car up and remove it before then just to measure it, hopefully one of these guys will have it lying around somewhere....

Do you still need the S pipe measurements? Totally forgot last night (sorry!)

Cheers Banksy, I'm hoping the one i ordered from CM will arrive today and hopefully it should be around the same sort of size as my TDI one. Still cant get over the difference with the one from China. How has anybody made it fit without filing it down or butchering it! LOL

I didn't fit the Darkside pipes no, I installed the china cooler pipes to mine, so the Darkside ones are just kicking around in my garage.

Do you have either the OE S pipe or Darkside coupler to hand mate? if so can you measure the diameter of the lug similar to the pic i posted above?
