They ship it via DHL, or they did with mine, and I basically had a call to my home phone giving me a code which I had to enter on DHL's website, and you pay it online. It was like £3.50, although I think it should've been like £30/40, but the invoice they sent said it was only worth $30

Cheers banksy! No error codes or anything when it's removed? Did u remove the rad & the pump etc, or just the rad?

Josh - did u remove your air con while doing this? And again..forgive me lol..but you keep talking about how thick it is..it does just fit in the same place as the standard cooler doesn't it! Lol cheers :)

it will fit fine with the longer bolts. Just gutted i wont be getting mine fitted until September as i'm going to Birmingham next weekend, taking the lad to Thomas Land in Drayton Manor. Need to order a Waterpump, Oil pick-up and rear brake pads, will tackle it all in one go.

I will be doing lots of logging of IATs in various situations so will see how well it performs.

Personally I dont get why everyone seems so obsessed with size (thickness) when it comes to the cooler....
Its something that interested me when I first started tuning Subaru's.

What about the design? Tube and Fin v Bar and plate etc.
And more importantly its overal design, particularly the fin design.

The function of the FMIC is not to be large in size and therefor flow more air, I doubt that even the oe coolers are restrictive as far as airflow goes. The turbo will have a max air flow and thats likely to be the most restrictive part as far as mechanical airflow goes.

Its all about its ability to reduce charge temps, allowing us to maximize performance. Large surface area is obviously good, assuming it can gain free ambient airflow across it.

I started typing some points up but actually this is a very good source of info.
