just revisiting this, after trawling tinternet i came across this thread from this very forum

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=262399

as i say the logs i remember from right after mapping the car where better than currently, could this be a sign of the fuel pump failing to supply the fuel needed hence backing off boost?

not meaning to go on and question you guys seeing as you know more than me, just dont want to go to the guy who mapped the car saying hes wrong (when the car was actually making the bhp quoted to me) for him to check it and say its my fuel pump

for him to check it and say its my fuel pump

From the BMW scene, we're sometimes told just to get a Fuel pump anyway, even just to keep one as a spare, sometimes even *in* the car!

I don't know how much they cost but our local Seat dealer wanted £15/L just for gearbox oil...

just to finish this off, i spoke to the guy who tuned my car, he ran me through a couple things and i sent him some fresh logs, he diagnosed a bad maf

went to eurocarparts this morning and bought a bosch reman MAF sensor, ran a quick log on the way home and managed what i think is a healthy 177g/s which is roughly 220bhp

so that seems to be that hopefully that will sort the knock out aswell and the lean uptop problem
