Pretty sure Andrew didn't get that for it

I thought he had sold it privately.

No I'm sure he said Craig Johnson took it in and Craig sold it privately. Could imagine he got £14000 ish for it.

Just completed 420miles from Plymouth to Gateshead.
Last leg of a bumper Gateshead > Alton Towers > Leek > Alton Towers > Plymouth > Gateshead bonanza 900 something mile road trip over 4 days.

Averaged 30+ mpg on nitro +, mixed bag of speeds :) expect the fact virtually every road had its fair share of 50mph deserted roadworks. Virtually the entire stretch of M1 between A42 and M18 was restricted. Ive been making this trip for 13 years now, and this is the worst ive seen the roads in a long time.

I have an absolute bugfest going on the front end :(

Ps - That one is sitting very nicely Andy :)

I swear I am jinxed, having dropped the car off this morning, had a call by 9 saying the garage cant do it today as the decision had been made not to replace the oil feed, however I queried this today due to the turbo technics warranty and the garage have phoned them and they have insisted it has to be done. The Garage couldnt source the feed pipe so have ordered one in for tomorrow and said i can either pick car up and drop off tomoz or claimed they would start car today and finish tomorrow, I agreed to the latter. Disappointed, I made a couple of calls and managed to find one in stock. 45 minutes later I phoned the garage back and they said it will have to wait till tomorrow now as they have put it off suggesting they are doing another job instead. I asked is there no way it can be done today, same answer. I am shocked considering it had been booked in for a week. What could they really have taken on/started in 45 minutes that would stop them doing mine. If it wasn't for wanting the turbo sager brought to an end I would go and collect my car and say forget it. It also suggests they lied about starting mine today.

Thats sounds like a bunch of cobblers to me. Maybe they are just short staffed and dont want to let on and now they have priortised a different job.

My suggestion is to go with fate, maybe their best turbo guy will be back in tomorrow. Roll with it mate, as frustrating as it is, maybe things happen this way for a reason. (Thats the way i justify my luck these days!)
If that FR Tdi hadnt thrown a wobbler on the test drive, i wouldnt be driving a Cupra now... :)

Ha ha, ill find out tomoz evening. Personally I think the car is cursed as its caused issues from day one. The Garage is only a tiny one with about 2 staff members. As far as I knew it was all going to plan until I queried the warranty situation this morning. The mechanic who has used turbo technics for 30 years, said he follows their recommendations on each individual car but based on what I said the website showed he called them as he said he didn't want to invalidate it. I think they prob just put it off and wouldnt revert back cos it was easier especially if other customers were now expecting work to be done. Unprofessinal in my opinion. 1st and last time ill use them
