Unplugging the battery wont clear it no but I would get for future a Bluetooth ELM327 and the torque app on a phone and you can read and clear codes all in for under £10

I keep one in my glovebox just in case. Used it on my wifes corsa several times and saved quite a bit in garage costs from it not going to a garage to read the codes.

Been waiting on a waxbox arriving, got a text from the mrs while I was at work that a royal mail attempted delivery card was there when she got in.

However.....

She then told me that our dog (who in 4 years has never chewed up anything) had chewed the card up. Now I need to go to the sorting office with the old line 'my dog ate it'

I'm seriously considering selling him to a Korean restaurant.

I've got a wee westie and it's like a paper shredder! If you don't beat him to the mail tough luck!

Dougie's a big yellow lab. If the Koreans pay by the pound I'll be quids in. I'm raging at the wee dobber, the Hamilton sorting office is a pain in the baws when you have the card, not looking forward to presenting the chewed remains of one!

Wouldn't work, he's softer than my first sh*te!

Completely unrelated, today me and my MK2 went to work, where I gave a 70 year old woman a cheque for 25 grand, then I started the process for a young dude (who just bought a mk1 cupra) to receive a cheque for 25 grand. Then on the way home, I finally managed 500 miles from a tank before my fuel light came on.

Absinthe and some happy tobacco now methinks.

£25k to a 70 year old? Is that the going rate in Glasgae now? I hope she does breakfast .....
And now you've started on a young man too , does your depraved lust have no bounds? ... Last time I walk down Sauchiehall Street...... ;)
