So today I fitted my new Cupra pedals. Really easy to do, took about 20 mins. Bought them off a seller on eBay new for £49.99 which is great as they go for more than double that.

Haven't driven the car for 6 weeks as recovering from an operation.

Should have washed it today with the weather being so nice but mowed the lawn instead lol.

MOT due in a week.

Pricing up an uprated clutch as mine (original clutch, 50k) is now slipping a bit at full throttle in 4th gear

How reliable are cupra's? Mileage etc?

Been looking at straight px for a cupra but with a bit more miles on the clock on the cupra.. Seen a few with around 50k on?
Had one for around 17 months now, only thing i've had go was a coil pack and that was a result of having the engine cover off and water getting in. Most reliable car I've owned as well as the most powerful.

Crap on fuel though!!! But that's to be expected.

We'll the thing with fuel is obviously I'm paying a lot more for diesel but I'm not doing as many miles as thort because of a new job.. So would I benefit in the long term with a cupra? And obviously more fun haha!

Tfsi mike has a heavily modded 57 plate (iirc) cupra and that's done over 50k and is still going strong. Same with bignod too, think he's done around 50k too

Theyre well looked after so that does help tbf.
