Yeah thats what i am going to do mate, ordered one from local stealers yesterday.
Having looked at the state of my paintwork this morning I seriously need a machine polisher.
Picked up serious swirling on virtually every panel and one or 2 scratches. Drivers door and bonnet are worse. Noticable when close up.
Dont think I could get rid of them by hand using SRP
I just got a quote off the guy that sprayed my boot, £100 all in for a complete machine polish and wax. Didnt think that was too bad considering i have half the A1 on my paintwork.
That's good!
Ive just bought a new Dodo Juice DA machine polisher & a pack of pads for £120 off ebay.
Thought id bite the bullet and go further into OCD territory

Ordered my own VCDS cable from good old Ross, then decided to get some Vibe speakers to do a straight swap with my standard ones... Then got a new key fob... Thought feck it while I'm here I may aswell get an armrest as well lol
James,
I beleive a DA (dual action) polisher is better than a rotory, as there is less chance of ballsing up your paintork.
Need to b a pro to be confident with a rotory polisher
A pretty productive day huh Jimbobcook haha
I had an armrest in my car when I bought it. Now when I go to drive the partners A3 tdi sport. I feel lost without it haha.

A DA will be perfect for what you need it for!
What polish are you using?
I hear the dodo juice pads are very good.
