That's one persons opinion, get whatever you like not what other people recommend. Where did you go?

I hear what your saying don't worry. I went to that place you recommended me to go on Bristol road Gloucester, by the bike shop, ultimate valet I think it was called. It was the boss I spoke to and just asked his opinion, with him being a professional. I had a look at some of the stuff the had around and there was a set of wheels on this van in gun metal and they looked good. He said about having a silver sparkle in he paint would be good and doesn't cost extra. I was thinking when I get them done to look like chrome (silver and shiny like aks old ones on the blue before his Porsche wheels) or gun metal grey, I can't decide. I'm also thinking about maybe getting some of those eye brows for the head lights and smoked rear lights. First up is the service before I commit a further £250 lol

unfortunately the bloke who had them before sprayed them himself and didnt do a very good job, and the car should be going for a full colour change so the mirror polished finished will work better

fitted a cupra r black roof lining last night, unfortunately the knob-jock that i bought it off of didnt supply the sun visiors, mirror or interior light units, and door seals and as i traveled 4 1/2 hours each way to collect it im not taking it back, after texting him he said sorry forgot to mention i need those bits! so now i have a black lining with black a,b and c pillars but all the smaller parts are grey, not really that happy but it will have to do!

Seen off a treat! How much did you pay? Just spray the rest with good paint and you won't know! I did on my last leon.

drove it, then realised its got a knocking sound when im on full lock turning right so im not happy now :-/

Arb bushes are known to do this, may have worn with mileage? Check usual suspects like play in the wheel bearings/ball joints first, wishbone bushes, arb bushes etc. If it is arb/wishbone bushes then you might as well uprate for poly while you're there.

i paid £180 with a set of "well used" cupra r seats (they need new foam base's) so i know it was cheap, but i basically need all bar the roof lining to replace it all! grr knob-end haha and yea ill give it a go, did they not stay tacky or anything? im just concerned with the alarm sensors etc, i may eventually bite the bullet and find someone else breaking a cupra r and pillage the parts, seems like it will cost me another £150 for it all!

and yea the really late spec ones had oval fittings wisesmurf
