Problem is I want to vinyl wrap the 'S' badge on the boot but really can't be bothered to do the letters too!

I plastidipped both and got pretty good results on it (Seat logo and Cupra letters), big plus is you dont have to mask every little corner which is a bitch.

Just make sure you do enough layers as the thicker the paint is on the car, the easier it will peel off. 1.5 hour job I think :)

I plasti dipped both the rear S badge and the letters on my old leon and was pleased with the result, but this car is white with everything else being gloss black so I was thinking gloss would be better!

Yeah I think they also do a glossifier now but it will never be gloss like spray or wrap. I''ll upload a pic of it in my RR thread in a bit, it might inspire you.

I did 4 coats of matt black and than 2 coats of the pearl glossifier and now it sits between gloss black (as the rest of the car) and the colour of my 19'' R wheels.

Debating whether to remove the L E O N letters off the back of the car or not!

L e o n badge makes the back end feel nice and modern, just don't like the chrome, I'm removing it everywhere.

Does anyone know what the done thing with changing the colour of the boot badge? Does wrapping/spraying last with use or look shabby over time?

Cleaned out the interior and found some paraphernalia left behind from the previous owner.

So far I've deduced it was driven by a Welsh lady who may or may not work for Barclays, liked listening to Michael Buble and Del Amitri, and had children who are now missing their Chicken Little DVD and some miscellaneous pieces of lego :p

If this sounds like you feel free to drop me a PM!

Better than a pack of roofies and used condoms!

Gave the car a full clay, polished twice and then two layers of collinite today.

Yesterday I got four Falken ZE-914's fitted and my wheel alignment corrected.

Next month is service and MOT. Car almost four years old, looks better inside and out than a couple on the same street that are less than a year old!

To be "perfect" it really needs the front bumper spraying and wheels refurbished.

Yeah I think I'll try vinyl wrapping them first :)

My local shop reckon the badge has to be removed, or it'll be difficult to wrap. I'll have to have a browse through the forum and see how easy it is. Don't think they fancy touching it, they want me to take the grille out for them to wrap it lol

I bought some new leon letters from dave at sere and sprayed them gloss black then just took the old lettering off, think it was under a tenner, I wouldnt fancy wrapping them, I don't think you will get a good finish.

I've wrapped the badge before and it wasn't too difficult, it seemed to last pretty well too so I'll give it a go!

Just rang TPS and they've ordered me some new letters for £8.12, will be in on Tuesday for me to collect :)
