Good day out at Prept Showdown today

Car did well on track again and I got to learn a bit more about my diff on the limits which was fun.

Big thanks to AmD for putting it on and giving us free reign on track today!! Awesome

Yeh, the track is just such good fun. Different league to driving hard/fast on any road IMO. These cars once tuned come alive on a decent track and really do well. The road is really smooth for a start!

Was flat out during the session and she didn't miss a beat, just boosted away happily and clung on pretty well There were some fast cars there today though, including a few GT3's - which I managed to cling onto for a couple of laps and an Audi R8 V10 which had a Milltek race exhaust or something, sounded incredible.

Track days are the way forward! Diffs are amazing on track so much more grip than the other cars out there that don't have them fitted. Glad you enjoyed your day.

Yeah, certainly had more grip than last time in the corners on exits it pulled out like a train today was great fun.

I took some pics on my iphone throughout the day, but haven't uploaded them to photobucket as it takes ages, lol. Proper pics will hopefully pop up of the track action from D.K who has a proper camera!

Pics from the Prept Showdown event at Brands Hatch this Saturday gone.

Had a great day out and the track time was epic as always, cannot beat it Car did great and seemed to handle better than last year around the same circuit. Happy days..

Must say Tom, I wasn't a fan of your wheels when I first saw them, always loved the standard ones so much I didn't think they should ever be replaced, but have to say they are growing on me looking through these pics!

They don't stand out as much as my polished oem one's did. But that's what I was after really with the theme of the car
