Wow, is that a Toyota? I have never actually seen one like that before. It looks stunning.
Thanks! It was a bit of an impulse buy, but I love it.
Especially now the paint is fixed

common problem is the Pre Cat on those mate. be warned. when they go they get sucked back in to the engine. most people bash them out!

Ja I know. Hence I'm bashing them out. But I've checked them and they're intact. And besides, they only break apart because of oil seeping by piston rings due to oval bore...which to me is far more concerning :)

Those headlights are just crying out for projectors!

Indeed they are. Unfortunately 2002 wasn't quite rich with projector headlights :)
Not even the 2007 ones do.

I'm sure you could whip some up for me though ;)

EDIT: I lied...the post-2003 FL ones have a ltitle projector light on the top corner. Still doesn't look right

Very nice still prefer the model b4 but I did used to have the import turbo! Awesome drive! Unfortunately sprung an oil leak on a spirited drive, oil light never came on :( big end earring disintegrated and a nasty big gouge in the crank shaft :(

Shame. They are lovely cars. But this was the wife's choice :) As I chose the Leon.
Strangely the Leon is on her name and the MR2 on mine...

What's the handling like I know on mine the car seemed really well balanced! Easy to get the back end out but boy could you hold that bad boy sideways!!

The handling is just on another level compared to the Leon. I've had it on two "intense" rallies since I've had it and you do need to learn that you can push the car much harder than you're used to.
Incredibly well balanced. I've had the back kick out at about 80mph through a mountain pass and it corrected like it was nothing.

Cheers guys. Its really made a massive difference. The front of these cars are just to nose high IMO. Especially with the aero skirts fitted, the splitter just levels it out nice.

Big Eck looks good, it's the same splitter as mine. Mine was on my LCR when I bought the car, its the Triple R splitter isn't it? Just I've been at Awesome today and another customer of theirs was asking where I got the splitter from I said I thought it was the Triple R splitter. Am I right?

Been to Awesome today for APR stage 1 remap on my leon, what a difference can really feel the increase in power and torque.
Now am starting to save for the stage 2 mods.
