Front mount intercooler fitted few tweaks to do tomorrow but well happy. Had a leak on my first run found and sorted that I think so see how she goes now

Just removed my sump plug and the sump thread pretty much came out with it.

The last monkey that was down there I guess, the plug and sump are in a sorry state.

How it didn't seep oil is beyond me.

Anyway........... A revised 'what have you done to your car today?'

Removed the sump, hurt my hand, had a beer!

You won't nesaceraly have to get a new sump. It's such a common fault on the vw range you can just get a thread insert

That's fare enough, I didn't realise you had removed it already. Would of been k as a tempery fix

Ive used the Dirko stuff many times now, Its great stuff.

Worth changing the pickup pipe while the sumps off. Only a tenner from AUDI.

Agree with the above, Did mine last week,
It wasn't to bad but for what it cost I thought it would be rude not to.

I put some smoked lights on her also put a sfs tip on. What a difference it makes! . And put a neuspeed strutt brace on! And now having a well deserved beer!!

My resident 20vt man tells me that if the gauze is clear we're hot to trot.
