MK4 Ibiza - What Alloy Wheels Fit Archive!

hello all,

looking at some 17" starfish alloys, they do not come with tyres, so my question is this;

1) will they fit on a mk4 ibiza 130 sport without any spacers or extras?

2) what tyres and what sizes do you all recommend?

Yep, fit with no issues at all. I fitted the 312mm calipers behind them too.

18x8j et 30or35 cant remember

Is the only tyre size going to be 215 35 18 that will make them fit ?
Im lowered 45mm

Without wadding through all the posts on here can anybody tell me if 17" wheels 5x100 stud pattern with 225 45 17 tyres would fit my 2005 130BHP TDI Ibiza sport without any modifications if that's possible?

Simple answer is no tires to big. 205/40 is the size you need

I'd recommend looking at 7-8" wide and ET30-40 on the front and ET25-40 on the rear.

If the offset (ET number) is too high the wheels will be too far in so you can reduce this with spacers. You take the mm width of the spacer from the ET number...

E.g. wheels ET48 with 20mm spacers = ET28 overall

Ok scrap that. looking at a set of wheels.

They come in 5x100 16x8" ET10 and 16x9" ET20 would be fitting 205/45/R16 tyres all round.

Are the offsets still to low to fit? The 8's can come with ET25 but they would require redrilling as they are 4x100.

Ive just bought a set of these, I'm assuming 205/40(45)/17s will fit nicely with 15mm spacers on the rear? I want the tyres to fit the arches better and will be lowering soon aswell..

With so many people asking what wheels fit, what size, offset and tyre sizes etc etc, thought it would be an idea to make a thread!

If you have non-standard wheels please post a picture of the wheels on the car and state size, width, offset and tyre size used!

Audi RS4 replicas - 17x7.5 ET35 - 205/40/17

Audi S3 (Genuine) - 17x7.5 ET32 - 205/40/17

Skoda vRS 17x7 ET38 - 205/40/17

Keskin KT-3 - 17x8.5 ET 30(F) 15(R) - 205/40/17

You say they fit over the 312mm TT brakes, will these fit over standard brakes aswell, mihgt be a stupid question bc i know the standards are smaller, but interseted in the RS 4 reps.
If so, where can i find myself a pair of these with tyres? And what sort of price am i looking on paying? (not getting myself ripped off )
