How much did it cost if you don't mind me asking? PM me if you prefer

My father is a bit of a handy man! ;)

Purchased a 60mm Hole saw kit (£18), and took his time boring out the holes, they fit on the center hub perfectly, so happy I went this route, I was quoted £40 an hour for a wheel

Can 195/65/15 fit a 58 Ecomotive ?
I'm not bothered about appearance or odometer, just worried about the tyres touching the body of the car.
Can anyone tell me if they'll fit alright, please ?
thank you

If you haven't lowered your car they would probably be okay but rub on full lock

Update with 19565R15

Hello people,
Today replaced the old/original wheels with the Audi A3 19565R15.
Yes they are bigger, but... they do not rub on the plastic covers, even if full lock I have 1 finger clearance (1cm).
Car is a bit higher so better for pot holes and bumps :)
However I would like your suggestions about the following points:
1) the centre bore is the same diameter but it does not stick out as the old/original rims, all the way through the old ones, but only about 1cm or less on the new ones (see pictures) But the ET is the same as Ibiza.
Does this mean the new wheels are not well secured ?
2) the acceleration has gone, does it mean they are too heavy for the car ?
But many ibizas have 17" on them and no problem.
Will braking also be affected ?
3) will the bearings suffer and die prematurely ?
4) less fuel efficiency with big wheels ? Same time the acceleration peaks are gone, so no extra fuel injected for that ?

Thank you

5) By Law: Can I have different tyres brand/model on same axle ? They are same size and Loading/speed characteristics, just different make/model and pattern.

hello all,

looking at some 17" starfish alloys, they do not come with tyres, so my question is this;

1) will they fit on a mk4 ibiza 130 sport without any spacers or extras?

2) what tyres and what sizes do you all recommend?

cheers

Yes they will fit.

205/40 is what I would go for as it's the standard size for 17s on Ibizas, or if you wanted a bit of a stretch look 195/40

It's quite hard, mine had them as standard. It has been a bit comfier running 16'' steels with 195/45 tyres over winter but not a night and day difference. I have my coilovers set rather low so it's to be expected though lol

Because of the extra size and weight of the wheel my little Ibiza now is having a harder work to turn them.
the steel wheels weight 12Kg.
the Audi alloys weight 16.5Kg.
what nice 15" alloys with tyres would be 12Kg or less (let's stay at reasonable prices, please ;) )
look how it's now, looks good, but a bit heavy for my Bibi
