What an embarrassing amount of smoke, how can you honestly be happy with that?

What an embarrassing profile photo, how can you honestly be happy with that?

No need for that kind of comment is there? If he wasn't happy with it y would he have had it done. People like you give forums a bad name!

Right mate, nice one.

What are you his boyfriend?

It looks rediculous, driving around in a car that looks like its on fire. My tdi is mapped and doesn't look like its on fire when I put my foot down.

Tbh I don't really think this is something that's down to taste, one liking one thing and another not.

Who would sit and say "I want a remap and I want it smokey as I can get it" IMO smoke is down to poor mapping, smoke on these levels anyway. His car is really nice as is yours but that amount of smoke creating smoke screens as you drive off is crap.

It is an embarrassing amount of smoke and if someone mapped my car like that I'd ask if they were taking the piss, so there is a need for my comment if what I'm saying is true.

Its not possible to get above 210bhp on standard Turbo and Injectors on the PD170 without smoke Fact.

I'm not bothered what power can be made without creating smoke and I never said it could be mapped at the some power without smoke.

Me, if I saw this car parked up I'd say to myself that's nice as I like these, the driver would get in blast it off and I would think what a ******. It spoils the car IMO.

Anyway that's the last I'm saying about it I'm not looking to troll your thread just giving my opinion and that something I'm entitled to.

I was bothered about power though, I can switch to stage 1 which I am gonna run for everyday use and that has no smoke so its not like that all the time.

Shark did say if my injectors were set up properly it should cut down the smoke

Yes

I had similar , i had Stage0, Stage2 (Medium smoke) and Stage2+ (off road use only)

My Original JBS DPF Delete map was super smokey due to injectors leaking, Injector replacement cut the smoke by about 50%

Did you replace the injectors yourself or was it done under the recal?
Shark said dealerships rushed the recals and didnt bother to set up the new injectors.
