sooo think i have found the part number for the grey insert Part no. 1P0 807 521.

after thinking about it i know how it fits.

For those that are wondering about costs i now see why this is the expensive option along with the Cupra R version.

Lester Diffuser = £145
Replacement Original Cupra/FR insert = £30 ish
Painting = £60 to £130 depending on where you go.

here are some pictures of it being held in place.

Sorry for the quality the lighting in the underground is rubbish so hard to get clear pictures. but it shows you what it will look like fitted... roughly. misses had to help and the small tool box holding it up a little not included :)

Was it a difficult goodbye?

Not really mate.
It looked totally different once back to standard anyway.
It helped as the day before I was getting rid the drivers seat was creaking like mad and the wipers decided to make loads of noise.
Oh and it started with brake judder on wedensday.
It's up for sale for £14450 in the dealer now,
I was just so disappointed at how little it was worth in comparison to what it was new!
Considering that car was £27915 30 months ago and is now up for sale for just about half that with only 19k on the clock.

That looks great Smee, what inch is your tailpipe as it fills the gap nicely?

So close to putting an order in for one now but I would carbon my current diffuser and leave the bottom gloss black

Just fitted a new gear knob !!!

ury8ezy2.jpg

£20 of ebay . Much better feel than the old one

Looks loads better. I always thought if you wanted to change the gear knob then you needed a new gaiter too? Also yeah metal ones get very cold i had one in my scooby and it had frost on it once :$ lol.
