I found the miltek to be very overpriced mate. The quality of there exhausts are crap tbh, out of the 2 I had on previous cars both cracked at the welds. I never had that problem with the mongoose systems I had on my other cars.

The cobra seems to get brilliant reviews on here.

Are you still gonna tackle the exhaust yourself mate? BTW you should be fine with the mot :D

Got it up in the air richy looked at it and my downpipe didn't come till today so I've got some overtime and working all weekend and need my car back as I've driving around in my m8s 4.0ltr ford explorer @ 15mpg so its expensive lol, so decided to do the overtime and send the car in so the mrs took it in today and she will pick it up sometime in the morning but looking at doing the downpipe it looks like its best to be on a 4 poster ramp, I can see some boost pipes will need removing from up top for access to the top downpipe nut and the other two should be ok from the bottom but getting the downpipe out looks very tight, a vw expert told me the steering rack and subframe need loosening up to allow enough room for it, I've got to agree I don't think it will come out that great,
Quite frankly it looks a sh1te job m8..... Remap next hehe

15mpg thats crazy!! lol. Yeah i thought it was a pig of a job, looked at a few posts and they all said the same. Don't understand why they didn't keep it simple like the LC 180 downpipe and be done with it  Best off leaving it to a garage so if something goes wrong then they can sort it there and then hopefully. Iv bloody bought a downpipe and decat all in one so need to find a friendly mot tester.

Remap is a must next mate, who you going with??

Well 2 weeks on and its back mobile again and it sounds awesome not to loud, not to quite its boring, turbo whistles and spools nice, just happy it's back in my garage, this is why I took the plunge for the sportscat so I've got half a chance of it passing mot's still unsure it actually will but cobra say's they have not had any complaints, well I hope they haven't , as for the mapper I'm unsure who to go to there's a few near the mids but I suppose the Hinckley one is the nearest for me and very cheap for a well known mapper to do a custom map of £250......

Haven't had much time to myself lately with the mrs going back to work and the over time I'm doing but fitted some new pads today and a little present was delivered from awesome, some 42 draft bushes great little mod and the gears are miles better but then again my 1 bush came out in 3 pieces, the reason for doing this is only because it was struggling to get reverse as the centre of the bush wash adrift from the rest of the rubber.... Now its all fixed....

Got the fans to do this week and then my rear calliper is sticking so ordered a new one today so will get that fitted ASAP....

Today i fitted new fans due to the common slow speed failure not a bad job really, took around 45 mins or so just had to take the Ali boost pipe of in for access other than that very straight forward.....
Also had to buy a new rear calliper due to the internal hand brake side of things starting to seize up causing the mpg to be low and the disk getting hot......not cheap..
