El popped round today with his laptop to scan the car to see what happend when it cut out the other day,
The first thing we found was it was cylinder 3 coil pack that failed, I marked them all before removing them so I know know I have 3 spares
Next we found a code relating to the N249 which had been bypassed
After having a closer look we found that the plug wasn't plugged into the unit properly
this was soon sorted. there were a couple of other codes one because of the decat and I cant remember what the other one was remember, these were cleared and we took it for a run, all was Ok and the car even felt quicker, when we got back we scanned it again and the ECU was clear so hopefully it's all sorted, just need to order the decat spacer next.

Lucky for El he turned up just as I had got all my detailing gear out, I had intended on just giving his a quick wash but on closer inspection I decided it needed a little bit more.
I wont go into too much detail here but it basically had a mini detail, Snow Foamed, washed, clayed, washed again, D.A'd using Autoglym SRP and then sealed with Werstat JETT seleant.
It came out very well but it really does need a lot more work.
