A new one to replace the standard s3 one Kev. The twintercooler isn't a real upgrade. We logged al's car and the 2nd core blocks the main core and creates lag.
I 'm going for the STASIS eurojet which gets really good reviews and shows very low charge temps in high temps :). It gives me headroom to advance my timing as the car is not gonna be able to run the current timing without timing pull when the summer temps come in

I'm in the process of deciding which intercooler to go for. I'm enjoying the extra power with this cooler weather.
Also going stage 2+ once APR have the switching map available which should be a month or two.
The airtec twincooler is cheap but everyone's raving about the Wagner intercooler but no prices available yet.

Wagner will be bang on APR cooler money from a good source £700-£750.

A certain tuner has tested both (non biased tuner may I add) and from results on rollers and logging there is nothing in it between Wagner and eurojet. So it's a no brainier for me. :)

That's good man! Hey it's all about enjoying it. No matter what figures personally I can't see much in it between cars. It's all about enjoying what you have. :)

How much can you buy a eurojet one for?
I can see them for £495 plus shipping?

I did say if you like your comforts then don't go for the mounts.
Very beneficial to the car but not for comfort.
Enjoy.

what are you going to do with yours when you go stage 2+ the risk of damaging the downpipe just to much for me. i had cracked 2 brackets with the yellow insert in place. luckily as Alex mentioned the way Blueflame are designed the bolt on bracket is the part that breaks not anything on the Downpipe so just need to order a handful just incase but now stiffer mounts should be ok.

Yeh man there a bit harsh but you really need them when you eventually get an uprated clutch. I'm really pleased with the S' ALK kit as well :)

got uprated clutch went Sach with DMF got it CHEAP from Alex at AKS. will be going back to SALK soon should of just done it when i was there really lol

I'm running a pipewerx downpipe adapted to fit my bcs. Ran the pipewerx for 12k and had no problems.
The pipewerx flexi is decent size so hoping not to have any issues.

When i put the current cooler on mine, the options were;

1) Airtec - cheap option for the Focus RS. Seems to have good reviews
2) Pro Alloy - Dear option for Focus RS's. excellent reviews
3) THS - Tried and tested by many. Good reviews.
4) APR - Good reviews but very very expensive
5) S3 with Alloy end tanks. Tried and tested and cheap.

Ther was no Stasis core when I bought mine. I ended up with ye Pro Alloy Core and a G will tell you, when getting blasted at Knockhill there was no pull back whatsoever.

I should add that on my car, I have had the following;

1) Standard Cupra Core
2) S3 Core with Alloy Ends
3) S3 Core with Forge Twintercooler
4) Pro Alloy with a/c core and pump removed
