Kl man, I always use 99 the LCr comes standard with s3 cooler but I've upgraded. Why does the boost need turned down a notch?

Plastic ended S3 cooler though, not the metal ended one that everybody upgrades to

The reason you HAVE to turn the boost down is your turbo on B9 is working very hard and its blowing hot & with higher timing it will cause you detonation. even B7 T7 F6 will do,,,,you might think you will loose bhp but with higher timing you will keep your bhp but what you will gain is torque figures which you really want. If you want to run higher boost you better of looking at WMI system then you are safe to set B9 T9 F5. with this you should get 420bhp if not more then mins.

Correct WeeG you using your F5 as cooler. When you change the Inter Cooler you need to ask Faisal to spend sometime with you logging the car so you can get the right settings for it. but remember... always start low and work your way up so you can feel the car's reaction on every settings you make to your ECU. This will help you get the perfect power you need.

I can't really say as every car is different. Also the reason why I mentioned you should start low and work your self up the way so you can find the optimum settings. :)

I've never run anything more than timing at 6. Your logs with the current settings are as far as I would go if I was you. We can log the banana at the weekend perhaps soap dodger at our secret rendezvous point ;)

Before you log the car have all fault codes cleared so your ECU works to the best of its abilities and when you eventually find your settings your car will be a monster on the roads.

If your cars running T6 with the OEM cooler you will make T7 with the new cooler maybe T8 but WMI will be advised after T7. ;)

Bilsteins are getting fitted this week coming :)

Car is a lot lot more responsive and from before to after logs, power is increased and no drop off until the 7300 rpm limiter

Good progress buddy. I really need a wee passenger blast in this mate.

I had a go on Friday, when mine was getting the Revo treatment, was pretty impressive, got me spending more cash on bilsteins and an inter cooler!!
