Well I have just this minute got home from a week in sunny Tenerife :(
It was funny really, I had hired a car from the airport and guess what it was..... YES a Seat Leon
In the worst horrible grey/blue like colour, very bad spec and the 1.6 diesel engine. It had only done a few thousand kilometers but it drove like it had done 100k, and was the most gutless thing ever. I couldn't wait to hand the keys back over. Not to mention my sore left arm from hitting the door trying to find the gearstick :cartman:

Yesterday I ordered my nomad racing pillar mount and also a 60mm rspec turbo boost gauge.
Today I ordered a APR boost tap from Awesome Gti.
My pillar mount is being delivered tomorrow and possibly my boost gauge.
Awesome are ordering direct from APR so hopefully I'll have it within a week.
Free delivery from Awesome so pretty good deal.

I washed mine and the wife's today the old fashioned way and boy it was cold.
Used the 3M stuff I ordered car wash and leather wipes and dash wipes.
Very impressed.

Yeah can't wait to wash it properly, but the dirt was getting beyond a joke and being at my uni accommodation, I don't have the facilities to clean it myself!

Took the leon too Konzept Autohaus(REVO) in Glasgow to get the superpro anti lift kit fitted and also had the timing advanced to 6. SO now running Boost 9, fuel 5, timing 6 and car is going better again.

Heres the car on the ramps:-

Car was filthy so apoligies in advance. Car drives a lot more positively. No wheel hop and you can actually drive through the skid without letting off due to violent bouncing lol. To top it off the car pulled even stronger with the timing advance and no sign of timing pull. Although the weather was cold.

Gave the car a thorough clean, polish and wax today with a bit of tyre black to suit

Marshall & WeeG - I'm green with envy at the fact you guys can wash your cars!!! It's been two weeks plus since I last washed mine and she's desperate right now, but still have a foot of snow on the ground. On the plus side, bunked off work to go snowboarding :)

Btw, can somebody explain boost, fuelling and timing in idiot language please - i have half a clue, but i'd rather look an idiot by asking than look an idiot by pretending i know more than i do...
