Kind of miss getting the bus! At least I wouldn't have to deal with other idiots on the road :)

I had to a few weeks ago when my car was at SEAT. It wasn't too bad - would save so much money each month if I got the bus each day instead of driving the car about :)

It could be! I have a few mates up north and the public transport sounds a lot worse than down here!
Although the trains into London are HORRENDOUSLY overcrowded everyday. That's not enjoyable.

Much prefer trains than buses...I plan on catching the trains more than driving to save on the parts etc

It's all good but I do hate waiting for the train in between switches :( !

Lol I used to be the same. Now I prefer saving money and petrol and I will walk the 15 minutes to Asda. Makes me feel like I've done my exercise for the day too :)

It depends on what engine and how anal you are when it comes to draining it out. What engine does your car have?

Mine took nearly 5l when I did it a few weeks ago, I did everything I could to remove the old by jacking different ways etc.

Tip : Get the car upto temperature before you do the change. Hot oil flows a hell of a lot better than cold oil, and that will allow more to drained out too. But obviously watch you don't get it on you ;)

Mine has had 3 changes in the 8 months I have owned it haha!
