In all fairness though, I don't blame you. It's a handful enough in the rain let alone snow/ice.

So with the gear limited boost control mapping, does that eliminate the need for a electronic boost controller? I remember you looking out for one to limit boost in gears

Basically yer, it's something that Bill @ Badger5 has been doing with niki @ r.tech from what I understand.

The car will know what gear it is in all the time and then will have 5 different (switchable) maps to tell it what boost it wants in that gear, so (in theory) it should put more of the power down earlier and should be able to nail it in every gear without getting wheel spin!

Gear based boost gears 1-2-3 +4/5/6, and boost build launch control anti lag also... :D
should be ideal on fwd high power..

Back on with the motor tomorrow. Going to get the grills fitted to the bumper and ger the fog lights installed etc etc. Then going to finish the brake install and hopefully wheel it out of the garage for a good wash if the weather holds off.

Got a lot of work done on the car today.

Got the callipers, discs, and pads fitted today along with painting the rear prake calipers black and also painted the disc guard black as well. Bled the brakes with my eezibleeder but was suprised at how little fluid was removed, as i'm using the blue brake fluid it is easier to see when the bleed screws need closing but only about 750ml was removed from the system of old fluid in total. So going to have another go at bleeding them again tomorrow and let a fair bit of blue fluid flow out of the calipers before closing the nipple again.
Then I tried piecing my bumper together with all the grills etc etc but much to my annoyance the grill pack that attaches to the top of the radiator assembly with 6 plastic prongs, 1 of them had broken off don't know if this was me or if it @ TPS and got a new one arriving tomorrow FOC. :)

All in all a good day done, going to have another few hours on it tomorrow and hopefully get it wheels out of the garage to make sure the brakes are working etc then it's back in until end of March....

Moving would be pretty rally car esque, lol.

Good work on the car mate. 750ml isn't much at all is it from the brake fluid bleed?

I think these cars look SO much better without front plates!!! I might try and get one that sticks on the windscreen and remove the number plate mount part.

A cheeky shot of the brakes..

All in all a good day. Bled the brakes again, always forget what a ******* the master cylinder nipples are to get to but anyway it's all done and working.

Took it for a quick drive to test everything and I do miss it when i'm not driving it despite not driving it a lot anyway...
