hey yeah that does look good! the plastic part on the bottom is colour coded as well, If all of the splits were smoothed as well it wouldnt look out of place in the Euro scene

Trouble is smoothing it properly is a LOT of work... not to mention how do you remove the bumper in future?

True but my bro is a panal beater & sprayer so i'm sure he'd be able to do it as he loves doing custom bodywork :) I reckon caps could be put over the bolts same as f/lift bumpers

So there's the same attachment points on the 3 bumper styles? I've always fancied doing the doors but felt it needs the front and back done too.

Id love to see it done with caps, its a great look especially on the silver cars.

I think it has a better look but still subtle compared to the R or facelift.

Don't worry about caps etc, the bumper has no structural purpose on the car (crash bar is there for that) so smooth it, then attach via the side mounts, the upper grill points and the screws along the bottom.

Simples ;)

True, the 2 bolts won't make it any less secure

Surely it won't align properly without those bolts being in place causing the bumper to droop?

It does look pretty good though... certainly better than facelift ...

Splitter and sideskirts to finish off would be spot on!

It's why I've never bothered with the bumpers... don't like facelift bumpers with the 17" wheels (looks too heavy on the eyes) and the LCR bumpers are a nightmare to fit.

Could screw the bolts in & cut heads off so the bumper slots onthem to keep it lined up or something like that

Well i've got the sideskirts & r splitter,on a black car they don't look to bad but on silver the black on the bumpers make it look awful imo

The cupra r uses two pins that screw onto backbar and has springclips located inside bumper that why they dont have caps

My facelift cupra bumper has 2 circular caps on it. Below each if the headlights? What is this for? Looks like where a normal car would have headlight washers?
