Trouble is smoothing it properly is a LOT of work... not to mention how do you remove the bumper in future?

True but my bro is a panal beater & sprayer so i'm sure he'd be able to do it as he loves doing custom bodywork I reckon caps could be put over the bolts same as f/lift bumpers
So there's the same attachment points on the 3 bumper styles? I've always fancied doing the doors but felt it needs the front and back done too.
Don't worry about caps etc, the bumper has no structural purpose on the car (crash bar is there for that) so smooth it, then attach via the side mounts, the upper grill points and the screws along the bottom.

My facelift cupra bumper has 2 circular caps on it. Below each if the headlights? What is this for? Looks like where a normal car would have headlight washers?
Bolts to hold bumper to backbar are behind the caps
