The one for the number plate lamp cold warning doesn't stop the errors either.
Tried it when I bought scirocco number plate lamps but it doesn't stop the error.
Loads of others have tried it to to no avail

Mirrors

Decided today was the day to paint the silver mirror backs on my 09 FR. Got them off OK thanks to this forum. Rub down, coat of primer, then 4 coats of metallic black.
Let them dry for 4 hours then 2 lovely coats of clear laquer.
Once I get my full membership I can post some pics!

Very pleased with the deep shiny finish!

See now that is strange, It worked for me, I always used to get the number plate warning, but never have since I turned off the cold bulb warning  Stupid Seat and the unpredictability!

Had a little play with a Mk5 R32 the other day. His mate in the passenger seat was encouraging him to try it. Oh no he didn't know what hit him. When he finally caught me at the next set of traffic lights, I just smiled and left him for dust again. My remapped K1 brings me so much joy. Lol

Thats a good price . Are they uprated ones then as ive just brought originals from seat for close on £50 . If so il take them bk and get these . Also is the bearing worth changing ? As i was contemplating not changing them

Thats with a 31% off offer applied which ends today. I dont know if they are uprated to be honest, just know that they are close to OEM as far as I know. I was quoted £75 for a pair with bearings from dealer so its less than half the price. Regards to bearing, I thought for the price I might aswell change the lot

Some idiot drove into the back of me on the M42!!!...but don't panic, it was the company car A3 2.0TDi Quattro and not the K1!!!...looking at getting rid of the A3 anyway as its too small for 1 child and 1 on its way...thinking of a V60 R-Design with all the extras.... But 1.6 eDrive! :-( due to tax!

No, it was actually last night at 7pm right next to junction 6 whilst crawling/ stop/start in the inside lane...some stupid lass hit me as she doesn't know how to drive in traffic that's been crawling for about 3 miles!...gave me a right shunt and knackered the rear bumper and my neck! Only just managed to get on line to post the update as I've been in London all day on a free jolly!

Where there's a blame ;).

Nah just wondered as the third lane was closed for what seemed no reason as it was clear (x was on but no obstruction) did wonder if it was just a quick rear shunt that you could drive away from

Exactly!..she was probably on her phone at the time!

It wasn't anything major but will require a new bumper or some filler and a spray. At least the car in front had moved it of the way otherwise it would have been worse!

As you can see they match the 6000k hids perfectly and look pretty cool, output isnt as great as the standard ones but they are still very bright! And before anyone says it, no I dont drive around with them on, this is purely a cosmetic mod for when the fogs come on when reversing ( I have de-activated the cornering fog light function ) . The standard ones look very silly compared to the HIDs, and for those of you with the corning function this is a must do mod! ( If you have HIDs or factory Xenons ;) )

Well I've just rechecked mine and the only one regarding fog lamps when reverse engaged says when cornering lights active.
So don't know if its different with a dsg car but I can't workout how its possible on mine.
