Is your car diesel?
Most diesel cars have a drain in the air box so if they ingest some water it can drain rather go into the engine?
Also some manufactures fit a pipe so they can route the water where they want away from electrics or gear linkages etc.

How much has the short shift reduced the movement at the stick mate?

Yeah mines a diesel. Its reduced it by 40% and feels ace. One of the best mods iv done lol .

Well yesterday I picked up a new Neuspeed induction kit and a Audi R8 oil cap

So basically over £200 on things I don't even need because I already have an induction kit. However I have heard good things about the neuspeed for the 2.0 TSI and it looks god damn good finished in red. It replaces my cheapo TX autosport one anyway which is pretty crap quality. Oh and £30 for an oil cap is ridiculously expensive but that also looks cool
I also got my hands on some HB4 LED fog light bulbs and managed to sort out my bonnet lifter with a weaker gas strut. Here are a few pics... I'll put some fitted pictures in my RR thread tomorrow providing it doesn't bloody rain

My girlfriend has also bought me some new wheels for christmas too, I gave her a list of 4 potential ones I liked, and asked her to get me one of them and not tell me... so now for the long wait to see whcih ones she chose

I thought he was going to come through the window screen . The damage is new bumper new bonnet and new grill so i carnt see it being much trouble really , i hope anyway . Il speak to the insurance today and find out whats going to happen

I thought he was going to come through the window screen . The damage is new bumper new bonnet and new grill so i carnt see it being much trouble really , i hope anyway . I was wondering if it was somebody reversing with a tail-lift up when I saw the bonnet damage. Just goes to show how low the car is I guess!

I refilled the car with gas and then slowly switched from the emergency lane to the regular right one when some d*chebag in a mini-bus Suzuki decided to swerve to the right and hit the front left of my car. We were basically driving like 20 mp/h and there was no one beside him. Some people are just born stupid, I guess.
