What did you and your MK2 do today?

I know things need to move on but I really don't like the rear door handle setup on the mk3.
I like the mk2 hidden handle look.
Not liking the rear bumper or lights either.
The mk3 isn't for me, unless the cupra can change my mind.

Don't forget there will be a 3 door version

3 door or not, the cooking model is at least a year away and you can guarantee it won't be any more than a watered down S3 engine front drive and manual gears.

Also i noticed this random pipe at the bottom of the airbox when putting it all back together any idea what it is and when it connects too?

Is your car diesel?
Most diesel cars have a drain in the air box so if they ingest some water it can drain rather go into the engine?
Also some manufactures fit a pipe so they can route the water where they want away from electrics or gear linkages etc.

How much has the short shift reduced the movement at the stick mate?

I'm looking at the pipe that's resting on the slam panel beside the bonnet stay in the 1st airbox pic.
Please tell me I'm on the right thing it's been a long day
