(yesterday) Washed, clayed, polished and waxed it to get a nice wee skin on for winter protection! Was only going to clay it and wax it but the paint was looking a bit pink so I got the polish out, last time I'm polishing a car by hand (santa's getting my a DA )

Also refurbed my new 225 steering wheel using the guide on here, looking good!

I'm going to post that I cleaned up a lot of tar from the bonnet which I've been meaning to do for a while. My Tar remover seems irrelevant compared to the engine work going on in this thread. If only I had a clue.

The tart is still leaking

Found a very small pool in the passenger footwell (no carpets or underlay in so its only on the metal), it can't be the pollen filter as the cover was back on perfectly. There has been a fair bit of condensation in the car recently with the cold nights and sunny but cold days, and she's not been run for a few weeks now as the leaks are sorted one by one lol.

It could be condensation running down from the screen, down the bulkhead and then appearing down the bottom.... getting pretty tired of this now, should've sold her a couple of years ago!!

Yep the doors were resealed with the decent butyl stuff so they're all dry - I've put some talc down in the footwell because it highlights where the water comes from

Just fitted 2.0tsfi coilpacks and clamps, re adjusted my gear linkage as 1st was a bit knotchy to select after short shift mod the other week.....

I FIXED MY CAR!!!!

For those who don't know since October my car has struggled to start. After many people scratching heads and many cups of tea it's been narrowed to the temp sensor. Put a new one in and good as gold

Carbon vinyled my rear badge, did it on the car rather than pull the boot apart so it's not the neatest of jobs :S will get it taken apart and do it properly when we have some nicer weather....

Well its been raining non stop all day and night in Birmingham. Just went for a drive to the local shops to be greeted by a swimming pool int the back. Ggggrrr im P'd off big style.
