So after a few trips into seat they finally agreed something was wrong with my handbrake and it shouldn't be so hard or noisy when pulled!
Cables were replaced today so it's really nice, after a year of ownership, to have a silent handbrake!
I think I'll try it on with mine then.
I've still got so many niggling problems for them to sort. Got a list of about 5 or 6.

basically they said it had sticky brake cables (after the week before saying there was nothing wrong with it) and it will be replaced under warranty by SEAT. Gotta say on the whole liverpool seat have been good so far! Far better than my dealer in Darlington...
Spent all night tie wrapping my bonnet felt to my bonnet, this way it won't rub against my engine cover and mark it. Lets see you sag now bitch!
Fitted a set of mudflaps, both front and rear, in preparation for the winter months ahead
Any pics or links to the ones you have fitted mate im interested in putting a set on for winter too . Unsure on which ones will look decent
These are the ones I bought, they have a nice OEM look about them which was a must for me. I shall post some pics of them fitted tomorrow

Seriously? It's interesting how 2 different people can have 2 completely different experiences at the same dealership. They were absolute retards when I dealt with them, and I still haven't recieved a reply from the letter I sent, telling them what I thought about their service...

I dont know how far from Warrington IMG you are, but they have been great for me. They fixed things first time that Liverpoo couldn't fix after multiple visits! If you have good experiences with Liverpoo then I guess there is no need to switch though

I'm in liverpool city centre, literally like 500 metres from liverpool SEAT haha! But warrington isn't too far from there, plus if the service is a lot better i'd rather travel somewhere else! I will bear it in mind for when my car next needs work (hopefully not till the 1st MOT next october!)!

I'm back at IMG tomorrow, still haven't been able to identify what this whistling noise is.
I think it's a noisy belt somewhere, because I had the same sound/issue on my corsa, but will have to see!

drove to work and some chav opens my door and asks what bhp my cars running i sed around 200 maybe more he sed "ahh mines running 220bhp it will give this a go, its a fiesta st with remap and exhaust" i laughed add a turbo than maybe but on a n/a engine surely a remap 10bhp exhaust max 5, I've done in 185bhp mountune st's and standard type rs

went in for my 50000 service, used the its fixed scheme all done for £120. car returned washed and cleaned inside and out which was a bonus as it hadnt been touched for 3 weeks.
went out for drive with a technician to listen to what i thought was a fault but couldnt find nothing wrong.
all done with a minimum of fuss and extremely efficient which i was surprised at given some of the stories ive read on here

Lol, I reckon it's you following me!
Not sorted though, but not their fault, the car picked this day (the only day in the past 2 weeks) to not produce the whistling noise.

lol i know think his st is the special edition ford did where every mod gets 10x more power than usual. just wish i was one of you lucky guys with a 2+ cupra so i could have said 360bhp see what he would have sed. 380bhp probably.
