Washed (waited for 25 minute rain storm to finish), shampoo and polish. Fitted shitty bulbs from ebay. Will be ordering osram nightbreakers.

I'd personally just go for a HID kit mate.Did have Osram nightbreakers but wasn't that impressed.Once you've had HID's you won't go back to standard filament bulbs;)

I fitted H1, H7 and H3 osram nightbreakers the other day as I didn't want the hassle of changing from h.i.d's back to standard bulbs and back again come m.o.t. time, as expected not as good as h.i.d's, BUT they are better than a lot of the bulbs out there nice 'n bright too. Well worth the money in my opinion, just my twopence.

I got 2 90 degree brackets from work, attached ballasts to them & mounted inside wings using one of the mount bolts.

There's also lips under each headlight you could use or wedge them behind washer bottle & air box.Depends how much time you want to spend hiding them to be honest mate

Had another attempt at changing the thermostat , my last attempt ended in epic failure. After trying to get to the lower nut holding the pipe in place with a 5mm allen key and trying every tool and household impliment at every angle to no avail , i thought i would have a brew. Whilst having my brew a noticed the outside of the bolt also fits a 10mm socket. 2 mins later its off , thermostat changed pipes back on and temp guage now reading what its meant to. idle is smoother and going to take it for a little spin in a bit.

I'm not sure on that ,but when I spoke to robdon he told me that you need headlight washers for h.i.d's and soon this side of the border vosa are going to be clamping down on this area too so if your car has h.i.d's and they don't have washers and auto leveling it will be an m.o.t. failure. I don't know how the old jap cars imported with h.i.d's are gonna get round this?, but someone will.
