The ultimate catch can nice! Did you get a good deal buying them together? I've been looking at the R -T e c h induction kit but that one looks sexy. Have you noticed a big improvement in MPG with the N75 switch?

Yeah i did notice a improvment with the n75 interms of fuel however my egt sensor has messed it up as its dumping fuel all the time.

I bought both at the same time, i had a big discount but im doing them a favor in the long run ;)

Hi,

Just read through the thread, lots of work and attention to detail [B)] I just wanted to ask if you remember the ID size of the small hose that runs from the top of the TB to the back of the bay. I'm referencing the 2nd pic from bottom of one of your posts here

Thanks and keep up the excellent work :)

I'm really pleased but the £70 import charge really sucked. Hopefully this weekend I can get this fitted and pick the turbo up.
That's all for now.

big update time

hello all. its been a few weeks but i have been busy with the car.

firstly i have now fitted the new induction kit and catch can from 42draft. top quality kit however the heat shield did need modding slightly.

i have also bought a set of black leather recaros seats front and back from a audi s3.
really love them. i had to make up a wiring loom so the electrics would work. my mrs loves them to so thats a bonus.

i then took the car to bills and had a dyno run done just to see how she was running before i fitted the relentless hybrid. fantastic results 290bhp and 290 ftlb. highest k04 at badger 5 yay. no changes were made on the map. you can see just how well the relentless manifold and wellycooler work.
graph shows old stage 2 setup vs new setup.

also look at that heat

now here is the biggie. relentless v3 manifold and relentless hybrid fitted, head off again lol

all back together and waiting for mapping. running actuator pressure for now.

made up some extra heat shielding to be safe

thats all for now

Excellent update Sam :), congratulations on your most recent RR result.....awesome and wmi would have got you over a true 300bhp, torque curve looks great. What boost were you running?
The relentless setup looks great, dare we guess at what to expect.;)

Thanks Carl. Boost was 22psi so not to high. There is still more in it but will never find out now. Before we can give predictions on what power we can make with the relentless hybrid we must make sure it works as it should. I can confirm its driving very well on actuator pressure. Bill will have my car for 2weeks while I'm on holiday so he can work his magic. The new discovery this week about the ecu holding back on torque is awesome news and I hope bill will eliminate this and have a awesome setup at a good value for money setup. I would be happy with 310bhp, not the highest powered hybrid setup but for bang for buck it will be the best :)

If we can supply a kit consisting of, v3 downpipe, v3 manifold and relentless hybrid for around £1200 all in then it's a no brainier really. Great value if buying for a stock car.

Awesome Sam. Hats off for getting the opportunity to work with Relentless. £1200 plus engine work would be such good value for the reliable performance you'll be sure to have. Everything is looking great as usual Sam!

before people get all hyper about it... there is no torque intervention on yours and its power is already good on its normal stage 2
we will see when I am mapping it what happens next of course, but the ign torque intervention is not something yours has had thus far. never say never of course...
should be interesting to see how the relentless setup works

Hello m8 not heard from you in a while. The front Recaros are probably 5 kg more per seat over the lcr seats. The s3 rear bench is probably 5kg less as its hollow due to being a 2 seater and doesn't have the reinforcing and seat belt mechanism. Very light.

The S3 front seats must weigh about 30kg each due to all the electrics
Sam, did you get a set with the heaters in?

Yes they have the heater elements in, just need the switches for the dash. Not to bothered tho. The electric seats are awesome
