Well my vagcom and cable arrived this morning so I have been playing with it for quite a while this evening!
Managed to change quite a few things and I am over the moon. Especially for £15 quid.

Windows close upon rain sensor detecting rain. ( Even if ignition is off) VERY VERY COOL feature
XDS strong
Brake Assist strong
Rear wiper inactive
Needle sweep
Large MPH display on MFD
Bong for unlocking car
Bong when locking car
Mirrors fold down when reversing
CORNERING FOGS OFF! ( Most important of all )
Rear wiper wash fluid inactive
Tyre pressure monitoring turned on ( This was turned off for some reason even though I have the feature + button!! Strange )
Reversing fogs off
Activated Flashing brake lights in event of harsh/emergency braking

I also noticed that I can turn on/off a rear view parking camera. This suggests rns315 can support a camera so I am looking into installing one that will display on the sat nav screen.

Very happy.

where did you get this from as it seems bloody good for the money

I was vacuuming and cleaning the interior and also under the hood. Those bloody brich seeds are everywhere.
How ever I found out that my motorcover (the plastic thing with the enginefilter), was loose.
There should be at least 4 of those rubbery buffers that holds it in place. I only had 1 left and also found some plastic bits inside the motorfilter area.
Damn mechanics these days are sloppy. Would it be so difficult to replace those if they break them!!
On my way to make some complaints and purcase new ones...

Cent Elec module

Mirrors : Byte 4 Bit 3. Then go into the MFD and tick " Reverse mirrors" However it is the luck of the draw if they work I am afraid. If you have the extra speakers as an option ( convinience pack I think) then you have more chance. They require extra wiring to the mirrors which not all cars have for some reason. Select reverse and point the left mirror down. Then select drive and put the mirrors back. It will remember the change if you have the extra wiring and they will dip down when reverse is selected.

Rear wiper- Byte 21, Untick all.. bit 0 bit 1 bit 2 bit 3 bit 4 bit 6

I have the TPMS switched off in VCDS, but it must be working because I filled my tyres the other day, and it went berzerk!... Reading some TPMS stuff online, I think there may be a few different types of system, so you can enable it even if you don't have the button.

As for your mirror dropping when reversing, I take it you have the electric memory seats?...It wouldn't work on mine, I read it's because I don't have mem. seats.
