Leon and myself took a trip to get new cleaning products for her.

I was gonna wrap the rear badge and give her some TLC but time went in to fast and by the time I was free it was dark :( lol

Lol wrapping crazy. Need to do the rear too but have wrapped my front honeycombe s badge in carbon. Need to put the grill on the car though.

Gave it a good clean and polish, and splitter is back on the car :)

Was that average for the trip of did you just hit the rest button whilst going down hill?

Average for the trip mate. Asda diesel with a shot of Millers.

My averages for the last two full tanks have been 49.7 and 49.5mpg. This was just for the trip home. On the way there I got 56.6mpg. :)

Damn, and I thought 44mpg was good! Sat behind a lorry with cruise set on 56mph :(. So painful.

On another note I think I am getting modding withdrawals. I havn't done anything to the car in the last couple of weeks and I have run out of things to do! Just spendta few hours trawling the net an there is nothing. Any ideas ???? :(

The only thing I can think of is the triple R splitter but they are taking the absolute piss with it. So i'll probably get a mk1 cupra r one

I'm in the same boat i keep looking of ebay for ideas. But i want to wait untill i go to trax because they may have some lowering springs at a cheaper price. Making it hard not to buy littlebits but i no they will all add up lol. Your car looks nice from the outside. Have you looked at doing interiour or a rear Arb?

Already have anti roll bar fitted mate. I'm happy with exterior (apart from splitter), happy with the interior, very very happy with the power + handling. The only other thing I can do is bigger brakes, but they are fine as it is, and I don't do a lot of track days so it would be pointless :(
I used to look forward to the weekend where I could fit all my new little bits and pieces, but now it seems I have hit the limit. There are probably other things but I can not think of them right now!
I have even considered new wheels or something, but I think I am slowly falling out of love with her . I'll probably just have to save up for my next car, which will either be an RS4 or wait for the new 2013/14 focus rs

Ueah i no what you mean. I used to mod, spend loads of wong on car and then once it was finished sell it. I'm planning on keeping this car for a while then probly give it to my gf and get a real fast car. Id say just enjoy the car for now....or want a straight swap. There's loads o do on mine lol

Looks alright close up, but from a distance it just looks like a huge unsightly black square in the middle of the boot lid to anyone else. Not something that I would do, but it seems quite popular so maybe it's just me

Agree, it looks like the badge/handle is missing if you're following behind. When I first spotted one like it I thought "that's a shame that his badge has fallen off, I wonder how much a new one is"?

Haha yeah, I seen a red Mk1 that had its badge wrapped in carbon, but it had the bit behind the badge finished in red (If that makes any sense ?). Made the 'S' stand out a lot more but ive not got a clue how that would be done.. If i find the picture ill send the link and let you make your mind up on it
