Are the badges wrapped or painted? they look really nice. Get some external door sills to match the internal ones and it will look great :)

Wrapped! I did the two seat badges yesterday and the leon ones about 30 mins ago :)

Yeah i need some external ones but lacking funds at the minute! :(

Hope you get your car back soon :)

Will be doing mine in carbon then with a heat gun.. Funds is what the modding all comes down too, and my funds have just taken a big beating from this turbo :(

But thanks and hopefully should have it back like new on the weekend :)

I've got those too, except they say 'LEON' on the inside. I found the adhesive strips weren't sticky enough, so added some extra security with No More Nails tape.

Hi.
Today I did some extra soundproofing to my Leon.
I added Insulation 10mm thick and some 1mm thick bitumen at the boot, where the spare tyre should be.
Really kind of easy project. Took about 90min to complete from start.
I did make some difference but not that much. I think I should add more insulation inside the wheelcases, because thats where the most of the noise is coming from.
Sorry No pics.

Yeah its my second go at wrapping, the first time my blade wasn't sharp enough. This time i had a sharper blade and it was fairly simple. I watched this video a while back which was recommeded by another SCN user: http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&so...hIDoBQ&usg=AFQjCNGHjjQgFgZI-Hsqcw_uD1ITSAxaFg

I bought the cheapest black gloss vinyl off ebay it was £3 or something lol so not sure how durable it will be with all the elements! We shall see!

Also i'm going to wrap the silver bit, like you say i think it needs to go!

On the boot mate, i'd have no idea how to take it out haha! Just try and stretch the wrap round the sides before taking a blade to it that's all!

The grill can be seen here with black badge and honeycomb grill insert :) I shall get full photos of the car tomorrow and put them on so you can see :)

But yeah they are starting to look similar! Yours is more powerful, though :(
