Get some rotiform wheels and everyone will think your scene and running no power. Then kill them when they give it......simple!

Actually F that, get those BBS CH-R's. Bad ass wheels

They are indeed bad ass wheels, but they are also bad ass money! lol

CH-R's all the way!!!

380's are what you need. 410bhp on an extremely hot day? This will be lethal in the cooler months, terrifying infact, lol :D

It is a bit of a handful to say the least, going to have a look into WMI to keep the intake temps down as it's only really going to be used in the summer months anyway.

It would have helped your intake temps alot today and will enable your car to make more consistant power through timing etc.

Going to have a look into getting some, going to make myself a new shopping list of things to get and install over the winter.

Great to catch up today James, thanks for the ride. Your car left quite an impression on me, it's absolutely bonkers. Seriously impressed.

Will post the video's hopefully tomorrow evening. :)

Ok mate, yer i've got one on my iPhone that is uploading to photobucket as we speak.

Been doing a bit of research regarding brakes today and it seems that the largest possible brakes you can fit under a LCR 18' rim is 356mm for certain but not sure about 360mm yet This means I have got a few options on the cards

K-Sport 8 Pot 356mm 2 piece - £999
Hi-Spec 8 Pot 360mm 2 piece - £1500(ish)

Not sure the Hi-Specs are worth 50% more than the K-Sport to be honest. My other option is to upgrade to 19" wheels which I think will hinder performance rather than increase it as Dan said.

I'm also seriously looking at WMI kits at the moment as the hot summer days COULD be having an adverse effect on my cars performance and WMI is the natural addition to help keep intake temps in check. Badger5 offers stage 2 AEM kits for £330 +vat.

Shopping list is getting longer:

1. K-Sport 356mm Big Brake kit - £999
2. Stage 2 AEM WMI kit - £400
3. Apexi AVC-R gear limited boost controller - £500

Going to be an expensive winter :)

On the plus side I will have a set of brembos to reimburse me some cash, I would imagine these are quite sort after for other VAG cars!

Gizmo do a nice one called an ibc-r which is a variable duty cycle based on rpm boost controller which could be a nice alternative to an avc-r. Worth a bit more investigation I think.

can i ask a question.....as a rough guide...how much has all this cost? both car and mods......sorry, im just interested

It hasn't been cheap let's say that. Never really say what things cost as sometimes people can get a bit green and I don't like boasting.

I have built the car with a no expense spared attitude to get the most powerful yet RELIABLE car I can. If you have any more questions about costs of things please PM me and I will be happy to help.

I could have sold the LCR with 55K on the clock for 5-6 grand and spent another 20grand on getting something new with good power or spend less money on my car that I think is a good car anyway making it "one off".

Everyone has their own taste, I chose the latter
