Brinkz - I was in the car too, remember? My neck and back are sore now!
I think there were a fair few of us in the car actually... Benji1989 has a stiff neck, so he was obviously there...
That leaves 2 more spaces, and maybe 2 in the boot. Who's in?

On a serious note though, I'm gutted for you!

 Thank you, wish i could quote everyone cos i really do appreciate all the wishes well.

My neck, back and shoulders are in agony and my hands and fingers are cut and bruised due to airbag going off - just praying his insurance company don't wash their hands of it due to him been drunk (and not just slightly, my partner says he could barely walk)

Below is a pic of the scene - and just remember that i was travelling in the opposite direction to where my car is facing...

Got my active subwoofer fitted at halfords! Cannot fault the guy, he's done a couple of things for me now and does know his stuff unlike the usual halfords employees!

Looks quite spectacular! Been to loads of these accidents, it should be straight forward with the insurance and they'll pay out (a compo claim could take a year or more, mine was exactly a year)

How's it sounding, Jarre?

It'll sound even better in a few months when it's loosened up!

I enjoyed a nice 360 mile run from Kilmarnock to Silverstone, first car with cruise control so was surprised at how much more relaxing it is. I plan to fit my TripleR splitter today.

Dw mate they will still pay out for you, legally they have to as your the tp, they will just take the dude that was drunk to court. It would be in his terms and conditions of his policy something of the wording " if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs your car is not covered for accidental damage" but dw like i said legally they have to pay out for you as your the third party. All the best mate, shame about the car she's a beaut

Yeah you should get paid out but you will more than likely lose some no claims discount.

He wouldnt lose any no claims, because it should be classed as no fault claim as he was hit by a drunk driver. IF the police was involved and the insurance know he was drunk they will pay out and u wont loose no claims my friend. Ive worked in insurance for three years pal :)
That was a correction of what u said, so dont think im being an ass lol, im just re-assuring the dude! :)

I am terribly sorry for the accident, Brinkz. I have been in quite a few accidents but two of them were total -loss, first being a Nissan Tiida (Versa) and the second a Mazda 3 (the new shape), about seven to eight months before I purchased the Leon; hopefully I don't crash the Leon as well because I absolutely love the car and I try to drive as cautiously as possible now.

Bloody turbo gone now by the looks of it, lots of smoke came out the exhaust and no oil left in the car. Whats needed to replace it completely and are these the main symptoms of a blown turbo?

My Leon got a treat yesterday with some new alloys and rubber.

Also a wash with some werkstatt love... Followed by a drive.

Now covered with flies etc.... But I still have a smile on my face :)
