Had wheels balanced and 4 wheel alignment. Guy said it was way way out!

Feels like a completely different car, well worth £30!!

Probably why you thought the Pirelli's were crap then :p

Oh btw, I have a brand new battery box if anyone is after one :)

I gave mine a wash.

Pretty sure it actually looks worse now than it did before (I'm not a particularly accomplished car-washer), and I discovered a number of places where the paints been damaged by either stone chips or cretins who can't park their car without bouncing off the one in the adjacent space [:@]

That's the depressing thing about washing the car! Uncovering all that. Some old coffin dodger at Wetherby Services banged my passenger door last week, I dread to see what it looks like after the next wash.

What was wrong with the HID?

Looks like someone's took a swipe with something on my passenger door :( doesn't look scratched though will probably come off.

Went and saw a car savy mate who is going to paint my callipers yellow for a small fee. Reasons for why I dont do it myself?:

1) I'm a lazy arse
2) He's taking the callipers off
3) They're getting sand blasted
4) He needs money

Woopa :D

Washed two bucket method with grit gards and micro fiber noodle mit, dried with miro fiber towel, de tared with auto glym tar remover and repolished with Collinite 845..

Wheels treated with Some. Bilbury cleaner and auto glym tyre dressing (painted on) They've already been poor boy wax treated last week..

Quick hoover inside and a dusting..

Will probably drive through a rain storm tomorrow and it will look like it's not been touched for a month!

Sounds like a nice few hours of detailing there, DDC! Impressed.
I spent a good 2/2.5 hours on mine on Sunday and fit my new sill protectors. Come Monday morning the car was filthy again [:@].
Ahh well, just means I get to spend another 2.5 hours cleaning it at weekend again !

Saw the car get put on a low loader and recovered to my local garage.....gutted as the anti roll bar top link bolt sheered off whilst on the way to work...

Note to self, don't do car stuff at home!
