What cleaning products did you use?

Gunk degreaser, Autoglym engine and machine (I think thats what its called) Spray it all over, Leave for 5-10mins, Get a brush in there and give it a scrub, Spray it again Leave for 5mins, Then Wash/Jetwash it of, Just repeat until its spotless ;)

I think polished dishes would look brilliant on yours, but they are harder to keep clean/shiny.

Yea I am. Would have preferred 8J and 9J, but I got a pretty good deal on them so I went for them.

Yeah I know, Alot of people say that, My friend has got some BBS RS with polished dishes so im going to ask him about how hes maintaining them, But also I like the satin black dishes they suit the car as theres nothing really chrome on the car if I run polished dishes, Plus the roof is gloss black along with the mirror covers soo....I duno! lol, Have to see how it all pans out.

Yeah same here, Got a set of 4 8J all round that had just been refurbed and painted for a cheap price so thats what I got, But I'd always wanted 9J on the rears.

What did you use to smooth the headlining? would make the work I've done to mine look a lot better and be a lot less fiddly to do :) Car's looking fantastic btw, love those seats!

No nonsense expanding foam, Its actually pretty good for the job, I couldnt think of anything else to use, So easy, Spray it in, Leave it for an 1hour, Expand's like 4x, Then just cut it roughly down then sand it = Smooth :)

How did you get that low
Like your car mate!

First of all wound the coilys all the way down on the front, Then took the helper springs out and choped the bump stops down, On the rears the cups are still in but wound all the way down, So theres still like 20mm left to go on the rears but that would give me reverse rake, So when its all together again with all the wheels fresh im looking to get some more lows out the front, Maybe shave the front struts as the rear does need to come down abit really, But already running pretty low on the front, Proberly am going to invest in a shallow sump to give me some more ground clearance, As my sump is now on its last legs, Already cracked and leaking oil, Also subframe and exhaust flexipipe have also took a good beating, But Its still got to go lower, I swear its like an addiction, Once you lower it you get used to it, It doesnt look or feel low anymore, Your always trying to squeeze a few mm out of it lol :D

Oh yh almost forgot, Its also chasis notched aswell, So once you lower it far enought the driveshaft starts hitting the chasis round corners and over bumps, So at that point you'll need a chasis notch.

So yeah, Still trying to go lower haa

To be honest I thought the same as person before another basic model with silly wheel with tractor stance. But then that is how we all start lets face it, but you have done this well must have set you back all that painting and stuff. Your lucky your Dad can help you my Dad has no interest in cars and seeing all that stiff piled in your house is what my garage is like and my Dad says when are you selling that lol! You've done so much so fast what you got left to do!?

Not much left TBH, Momo wheel, Repaint the front and back bumper, Tuck the exhaust abit, as it pokes out to much, Get the wheels refurbed and painted, The deck her again hahaa, Thats it at the minute, Im sure theyll be more to come after that tho lol :)
