I have had the steering wheel controls striped and cleaned out because they were sticking, no idea what was in there but brake cleaner and electrical contact cleaner wouldn't shift it.. Had to use bug & tar remover. All sorted now and working like it should.

Went for something I havent seen on mk2 yet. Sparco assetto gara matte black. Hope they will look good.

Andy - I think your alloys look great on your car. Could be even better in black.

I got the wheels delivered today but no fitting kit so need to wait for another parcel. Ordered tyres today as well so the wheels should be on the car by the end of the week. Ordering sportlines tomorrow and getting milltek fitted on friday :)

Orange? :)

I was thinking about white after seeing few yellow evos with white alloys. Was looking at speedline turini but decided to get sparcos instead and go black for now. When I get bored I will have them sprayed. Black wheels look small most of the time so it might happen pretty soon.

i nearly bought Supercopa wheels for my FR but now have them as standard on my LCR
The difference I believe is that the supercopa rims are made by Seat Sport in Spain, while the R rims are by BBS. The R rims are ET51 and the supercopa ones are ET35 and lighter weight.

How do u find that offset? Any rubbing? they do look bloody nice!

They do fill the arches really well, so far no rubbing at all, I'm running on H&R lowering springs and the rear tires are 235/40-18. I was very worried about rubbing after reading here on the forums but I'm happy with the choice I made, lots of hard cornering here and no issues so far!

both wheels are made by Ronal

Supercopa wheels are lighter and LCR ones are 19

Yea LCR's are 19's.
But are you sure both are from the same make? I read on the back of mines "Made in Spain" and I did a bit of research on ronal and they are UK based!

Swapped my HID ballasts for Canbus ones... Now they don't go on and off whenever they feel like it :)

Good lad, makes a big difference!:)

thanks mate, wanted vibratek but aint no way I am pating over £600.00 for them lol.

need to get mine Re-Fitted soon

my Subframe mount is mounted into a Subframe so now i just swap the subframes over

Ahhh clever man, I never even thought of that. Gonna fit them myself on the week-end if they arrive in time. Guess i need to re-do the alignment afterwards as removing the subframe right?

yep you do! you have to break the old subframe mount to get it out and make sure you put the new one in the correct way, once its in it will break if you try to remove hence why i bought a seond hand subframe to fit to my FR so i cud keep the THS mount
