What did you and your MK2 do today?

Quick question for you guys.

Thinking of doing my alloys on my Speed Blue Leon, can't decide if Matte black or Glossy Black would look better.

What do you think?

P.S I'm planning to do grille surround in matte black, and possibly the S badge and Leon badge on the back.

Gloss black will stand out more i think but if your doing other bits and bobs in matte black then they will match the rest of the car if you also do them matte

Well, I could do the other bits in gloss black, just can't decide what would look better overall.

Does black look good with the speed blue?

It looks good and i think some guys have already done it. I think anthracite would look better on blue as black is everywhere on other coloured cars lol

I had a great day my aircon has packed up won't recharge .
It's like being in a Mirco wave in this heat. Any time soon I'm going to explode...

And heat means turbo is down on power ..

But on the + side I still drive a Cupra mk2 ;-)

Major let down mate, they started coming up with excuses that bolts could snap on the turbo which would cause more work for them and cost me more money.... so i told them to piss off. No exhaust fitted.....

People go on about the studs snapping although I've only ever changed 4 of them with the oldest being 4 years old with 50k on I've never had any problems at all.
Maybe they just couldn't be arsed?

Decided to try out what a smaller plate would look like on the front of my car. I broke my rear plate recently so decided to chop it down to see what it would look like before attempting it on my actual front plate.

What do you guys think? Smaller is better??
